The CE certificate is controlled by the European Commission and acts as a mandatory “passport”, allowing or restricting industrial products to be circulated within the European Union (EU). Products that are CE approved are consumer and workplace safe, meeting EU health, safety, and environmental requirements. CE marking ensures very low levels of radiated emissions, making these units ideal for use around sensitive electronics where electrical interference is a concern. These newly developed air conditioners are well suited for domestic use and are also ideal for applications in international jurisdictions that require a CE safety mark.
EIC Solutions now offers the 151 series ThermoTEC™ cooler in a CE Certified version. This new air conditioner still delivers a 2500 BTU cooling output at the same low power draw of 4.6 amps @ 240VAC, but now has been tested and certified in accordance with the following CE standards:
