Comprehensive Protection Against Unwanted Heat for Sensitive Electronics (Part 1)

Adjustable temperature controls, low maintenance and long life cycles are the defining characteristics of EIC’s products that are essential to properly preserve the functionality of sensitive electronics. Combined with EIC’s ease of implementation, high reliability and effective, field-proven cooling, there are no competitive solutions that provide the same degree of comprehensive protection for sensitive electronics.

EIC now offers prepackaged configurations for fast turn-around in four specific designs.  However, many situations that necessitate a cooling solution require a unique, customized configuration. To meet the individualized needs of our customers, EIC offers virtually boundless customization for any challenge. Our solutions are designed to meet the demanding needs of military environments, including, but not limited to: land, air, and/or sea. Within these environments, sensitive electronics need to be protected from heat, dust, moisture, corrosion and other natural elements.  EIC can thermoelectrically cool transit cases and enclosures to temperatures below ambient, room temperature, with no need for refrigerants. Other than the fans, they operate with no other moving parts and produce little to no noise and vibration. These traits are what differentiate EIC from other manufacturers, such as MIL spec, NEMA rated and CE certified units.

Likewise, many other systems (especially compressor-based systems) are limited – not having flexible input power requirements and mounting arrangements. The fact that EIC’s sensitive electronics products require little maintenance, are portable and unsusceptible to vibration are what makes them the most applicable solutions for mission-critical scenarios where failure is not an option.

In part two of this series on sensitive electronics, we will discuss the various products that EIC Solutions offers across a wide range of industries that protect our clients’ electronics in the field.  Stay tuned.
