New recessed mounting frames allow the air conditioner to be mounted entirely within the enclosure. Some customers appreciate the improved appearance of the final air conditioned enclosure assembly. Others, for safety reasons or restricted space considerations, do not want equipment protruding from the wall of their cabinet.
