Happy New Year! With 2012 here, we are pleased to announce that EIC Solutions Inc. is celebrating its 40th Anniversary! As we all start looking ahead to what the year has to offer and set our annual goals, we want to take a moment to reflect on the last 40 years!
Founded back in 1972 as Electrographics International Corporation, we entered the market making silicone wafer step-and-repeat machines. Over the years we continued advancing our product line and introduced our first thermoelectric cooling system in 1988. Since then we have continued to work with the top manufacturers of industrial and military products as well as leading engineering companies to develop and deliver novel thermoelectric cooling solutions. In 2005 we became the first company to offer fully integrated thermoelectrically cooled transit cases. And just two years later, EIC Solutions Inc. was the first company to produce a commercially-available 2,500 BTU thermoelectric air-conditioner. Our heritage of introducing state-of-the art cooling systems continues to fuel our innovation and culture of continuous improvement.
We are proud of our long-term, successful relationships with our customers. Each year EIC Solutions Inc. continues to grow and provide quality products and excellent service. In 2010, we received two supplier excellence awards from Northrop Grumman. These awards were related not only to thousands of air-conditioned transit cases used to protect mission-critical electronics in both Iraq and Afghanistan, but also our ongoing commitment to customer satisfaction.
Today, as we did 40 years ago, EIC works closely with our customers, designing and developing thermoelectric cooling systems that meet unique challenges and perform in harsh environments. We have flexible production capabilities that allow us to provide standard and custom solutions for specific projects, ranging from a single piece, to large-scale production rollouts. We have the privilege of partnering with an impressive customer list that includes the world’s top defense contractors, industrial manufacturers and leading engineering companies.
