In 2012 we brought the world’s first 3200 BTU thermoelectric air conditioner on the market and now we’ve raised the bar higher still with our 3500 BTU version.
We are proud to announce our latest innovation, the 3,500 Btu, AAC-161B-4XT, thermoelectric air conditioner. By using high-density heatsinks, improved air flows, and redesigned electronics we’re able to provide 3,500 Btu of cooling in the same package as the 3,200 Btu. The 3,500 Btu footprint is identical to the 2,500 Btu and the 3,200 BTU allowing for simple changeovers to achieve increased cooling capacity in existing applications or minimal design changes for new installations.
Our new 3,500 BTU thermoelectric air conditioner weighs only 2 lbs. more than the existing 3,200 BTU model, uses the same cutout and mounting holes and operates in the same voltage range (200-264 VAC) as the 3,200. As with all our thermoelectric coolers, the 3,500 BTU model can be mounted in almost any orientation as long as condensate is properly managed. And the best part is the price is the same as the 3,200 Btu.
