EIC’s Defender™ Series Aluminum Rack Mount Transit Cases are designed to meet the demands of military and defense operations in extreme environments. Cases are constructed of lightweight welded aluminum. Ideal for housing and transporting communication, encryption, surveillance and other electronic gear, the cases feature a built-in thermoelectric air conditioner designed to provide the cooling needed to protect sensitive electronic components from damaging heat, dust, moisture and corrosion.

• Built-in 200, 400, 800, 1500, 2500, 3200 or 3500 BTU thermoelectric air conditioner
• Extremely reliable solid state construction with long life span
• Maintenance free design with no moving components (other than fans)
• No compressor, refrigerant or filters
• Standard models to 140°F (High ambient models available)

• Hinged or removable covers
• Lifting and carrying handles included
• Air conditioner mounts to shock-mount frame, under or on top of cover or on fixed-position A/C mounting plate at rear of case.
