4 Ways to Protect Your Sensitive Electronic Equipment During Extreme Heat and Severe Weather

It’s official. 2024 was the warmest year on record, according to Climate.gov.

They write, “According to the annual report from NOAA National Centers for Environmental Information, 2024 was the warmest year since global records began in 1850. The global average surface temperature was 2.32 Fahrenheit (1.29 degrees Celsius) above the 20th-century average (57.0 degrees Fahrenheit, or 13.9 degrees Celsius) and 2.63 degrees Fahrenheit (1.46 degrees Celsius) above the pre-industrial average (56.7 degrees Fahrenheit, or 13.7 degrees Celsius), which NOAA defines as the period from 1850-1900.”

2. Manage your Condensation

Condensation is a completely natural part of the cooling process. As the air conditioner cools, it will begin to dry the air within the enclosure and the moisture in the air will condense within the air conditioner. While it is a completely normal process, without proper management condensation can cause serious damage to housed equipment.
